Security Overview, Manage PWA Permissions

In this video we will discuss the security implementation in Project Server 2007 and we will look into managing the Project Web Access permissions where we enable / disable a particular functionality for an instance of the Project Server 2007. In this video, we can see how we can disable the functionality of downloading the outlook plug-in from the project server that will assist in users downloading their tasks to microsoft outlook to update their tasks on the project server 2007.

Overview of Project Center.

In this video we explore the Project Center web part in the Project Server 2007. The Project Center web part is the dashboard for all the projects in Project Server 2007. We look into the type of Projects than can be created, edit the Project / Proposal / Activity, edit the Project properties / project level custom attributes. Finally we look into how we can block specific set of task for any updates, filtering and grouping of projects in the Project Center.

Configuring Personal Settings on Project Server 2007.

We look into how we can set up alerts and reminders on Tasks and Status reports from a user / resource perspective and also as a Project Manager who can configure the alerts and reminders for his team. Connecting Project Professional Client to Project Server Instance.
